ASDS SPORTS LAW CONFERENCE – Swiss Sports Tribunal (SST) State of Play After the first 500 days
ASDS Swiss Sports Law Conference (30 October 2025) was dedicated to the assessment of the new Swiss Sports Tribunal‘s first 500 days in operation. LexInn Legal Office’s founding partner and SST’s arbitrator, Dr Isabelle Fellrath, shared her experience on selected practical matters pertaining to TSS proceeding. The TSS, having taken over the tasks of the former Swiss Sports Disciplinary Chamber – then a body of Swiss Olympic on 1st July 2024, has become as from 1st March 2025 a fully independent arbitration court in the legal sense is in charge of ethicsand doping infringement in Swiss sports.

African Arbitration Association 2025 Cairo Annual Conference
2025 AFAA Annual Conference held at The Cairo Regional Centre for International Commercial Arbitration was revolving around “Rethinking Arbitration in a Changing International Landscape: African Challenges and Perspectives“. LexInn Legal Office’s founding partner, Dr Isabelle Fellrath shared thoughts on arbitrators’ enhanced exposure to modern geopolitical realities, examining how modern geopolitical tensions affect arbitrator appointments and the conduct of proceedings, in the face of ICSID ABH Holdings S.A. v Ukraine case, Russian Court’s enforcement ruling related to C. Thywissen GMBH V. Jsc Novosibirskhleboproduct award, challenge ruling in PCA Dispute Concerning the Detention of Ukrainian Naval Vessels and Servicemen, and challenge rulings and Moscow Arbitration Court’s interim and antiarbitration orders.

HKIAC List of arbitrators

Vers une extension du principe de l’assainissement aux sols pollués en Suisse
Nous décryptions dans Le Temps du 23 juin 2021 p. 2 et dans un post la problématique du traitement des sols pollués en Suisse et des subtilités légales, évoquant l’opportunité d’envisager à court terme un assainissement en lieu de recommandations sanitaires et la mise en place de mesures provisoires. C’est désormais chose (partiellement) faite, au 1er avril 2025, avec la mise en vigueur partielle de la modification de la loi sur la protection de l’environnement, comprenant par ailleurs également la poursuite facilitée des infractions pénales dans le domaine de l’environnement. WCEL appointment
IUCN Commission has approved Dr Isabelle Fellrath to become a full member of IUCN’s World Commission on Environmental Law WCEL for the remainer of the current quadrennial period, as a recognition of over 25 years of practice, research and teaching in national, European and international environmental law; Dr Fellrath will be most particularily involved in WCEL networks dedicated to Climate Change Law and Environmental Security and Conflict Law, and will also endeavor to pursue her long standing effort in promoting sustainability in and through sports.

Du nouveau dans la justice sportive en Suisse: le Tribunal des Sports suisse achève sa mue en tribunal arbitral
Le Tribunal des Sports suisse, opérant depuis le 1er juillet 2024 sous l’égide de la nouvelle fondation nationale indépendante et selon un règlement de procédure provisoire, le TSS a repris les tâches de l’ancienne Chambre disciplinaire du sport suisse – alors un organe de Swiss Olympic. Passé relativement inaperçu dans la sphère du sport suisse, le TSS est devenu, au 1er mars 2025, un véritable tribunal arbitral indépendant au sens juridique en ligne avec les exigences légales d’un « organe disciplinaire indépendent” (art. 72d OESP). Nous faisons la synthèse des implications et enjeux de cette transformation.

Founding partner Dr Isabelle Fellrath was appointed for a four-year term by Asia Pacific International Arbitration Chamber (Singapore) to serve on its panel of arbitrators.
